The AI helpers — forwarding a booking email, uploading a confirmation PDF, chatting with the assistant — are about turning your existing bookings into a clean shared itinerary, not about deciding where to go. If you're looking for "tell me what to do in Tokyo," you'll want a different tool. If you've already got the plans and want everyone on the trip to see the same itinerary, photos, and updates, that's what we built.
Pro for a Trip is a one-time $4.99 charge that upgrades a single trip — that specific trip stays Pro forever, with no recurring charges. You get every Pro feature (longer trips, unlimited photos within a generous 10 GB cap, custom share URL, all 14 themes, member groups, ZIP export), plus a generous AI allowance scoped to that trip: 200 AI chats and 20 document parses, used however and whenever you like for the trip's lifetime. Best if you have one big trip a year and want it fully covered end-to-end.
Pro-for-a-Trip trips don't count against your free 2-active-trips limit, so buying it on a third trip just works — you keep your two free slots and the trip you upgraded.
Pro Annual is a $19.99/yr subscription that upgrades every trip you own — existing trips and any new ones you create over the year. Includes a yearly AI allowance of 3,000 chats and 600 document parses across all your trips. Best if you travel multiple times a year (it pays for itself by trip four) or if you want the AI assistant available on every trip without thinking about caps.
Both plans include unlimited AI-assisted journal entries on the trips they cover.
If you don't renew, trips upgraded under Pro Annual revert to free-tier limits at the end of the period (you keep access through the full year you paid for). Your existing photos, itineraries, and members all stay — but new uploads, new contributors, and access to Pro-only features stop until you re-subscribe or upgrade those trips individually with Pro for a Trip.
Trips you bought Pro for a Trip on remain Pro forever, regardless of subscription status.
Yes, any time from Account Settings → Pro Subscription → Manage Subscription. You'll keep Pro access through the end of the billing period you've already paid for, then it reverts to free.

On the web, payments go through Stripe. On iOS, we use Apple's In-App Purchase system (Apple's policy). Either way, the same SKUs and prices apply — and a Pro upgrade you buy on one platform applies to your account everywhere.
